AMC's "The Walking Dead" just finished up its third season with the season 3 finale taking place last night and rumors surrounding season 4 have already started. As with any hit TV show, fans want to get the latest news and rumors surrounding their favorite show. Sunday night has passed and we have already learned about some casting news surrounding "The Walking Dead's" fourth season. For casting news surrounding David Morrissey's Governor, as well as a sneak peek video into season four, keep reading.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Governor, played by David Morrissey, will be returning this fall. Blake originally signed on for just season 3, but after the season 3 finale, the door seemed like it was left open for a return. The Governor and Rick (played by Andrew Lincoln) were set for battle in the final episode of season 3, but after the Governor shot down most of his army, he rode into the sunset with two of his soldiers. This left fans wondering what will happen for season 4.

In the comic books, the Governor is killed in a showdown with Rick, which led many to believe that would be his fate at the end of season 3. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, fans will be seeing Morrissey again very soon. This should be taken as a compliment for Morrissey, since the show is known for killing off actors left and right. By all accounts he did a fantastic job this last season portraying the Governor and it sounds like the show is going to have him back.

In addition, Entertainment Weekly just released a season 4 preview video. In the video, the cast and producers give fans a first look at what to expect in October for the next season. It also looks like "The Walking Dead" could be expanding. Show creator Robert Kirkman says, "We will be getting into more world building, more civilization being brought back." I think it's best said in the beginning of the preview video when it the following is said, "Whatever you think is going to happen season 4, I guarantee we are going to surprise you."
