Chalk this up to the weird news department. Yes, its Easter, but it's still rather strange. A man dressed up in an Easter Bunny costume was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol early Saturday according to NBCLosAngeles.com. The Easter Bunny apparently was driving without a helmet on his motorcycle and despite his bunny costume head, he found out the hard way that you have to always wear a helmet.

The motorcyclist was pulled over in Southern California while wearing a full bunny costume. The person was driving a red motorcycle with a side car, unfortunately Santa Claus was not in the side car. The person was reportedly driving to a charity event where they were required to wear the bunny costume. Luckily the cop just gave the Easter Bunny a warning, explaining the dangers of driving without a helmet.

The incident was caught on the police officer's dashboard camera. According to the report from NBC Los Angeles, the police officer radioed in saying, "I'm stopping the Easter Bunny.'' Officer Adam Griffiths, who pulled over the bunny, was discussing the situation with the Easter Bunny when his partner snapped a photo of the two talking, which has since become a viral photo across social media. You can see the photo above.

Maybe the bigger issue, other than not having a helmet, is that the motorcyclist was riding with the bunny head on. I have to imagine it would be tough to drive a motorcycle on a California highway with a giant Easter Bunny head restricting your view.

Do you think it's dangerous for someone to be driving a motorcycle in a full Easter Bunny costume? At least the cop just let the person off with a warning. Do you think the Easter Bunny deserved a ticket? Have you ever seen any strange things on the road while driving?
