Adele Graces Cover of 'Vogue' and Offers Glimpse Into Her World as a Mom

Well, "Hello," there! Brit songstress Adele stuns on the cover of the March issue of Vogue, photographed by Annie Leibovitz in a lush Burberry dress that plays up her crystal blue eyes. In an interview with Hamish Bowles, Adele opens up about motherhood, weight loss, her tour and longtime boyfriend, Simon Konecki.  

Vogue touts the chart topping star on Instagram with the caption, "She had us at 'Hello' -- our March cover star is none other than @Adele."

It had been six years since Adele's last interview with Vogue, right after the release of her debut album, 19. The 27-year-old opened up about mommyhood to her 4-year-old son, Angelo, with Konecki.

"When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, when before I didn't." she continued by elaborating on how she prioritized. "My main thing is Mum, then it's me, then it's work. I think I had to take the right amount of time off to let people miss me," said Adele.

Konecki, a former investment banker with a scruffy hipster look, is the CEO of clean-water charity Drop4Drop. Adele told  Vogue that it was because of Simon that she was able to get through her recovery from throat surgery, which included six weeks of total silence and vocal rehab.

"When I met Simon, I knew that something was going to happen." she continued by sharing that their son was conceived "the day the last Vogue cover came out!"

Adele also talked about her weight loss journey in anticipation for her upcoming world tour. She plans to commit to diet and exercise to be in her best shape for the start of her tour at the end of this month. Adele is healthier than ever, giving up smoking most of her drinking and harmful foods for the sake of her throat recovery.

She laughed and rejoiced in her new found shopping habit, "Now I fit into normal, off the shelf clothes -- which is a really big problem for me!"
