Several unconfirmed reports allege that "Good Morning America" sweetheart Robin Roberts is currently dating an independent film director by the name of Storm Sahara. Rumors have it that if not already secretly married, the couple definitely planes on tying the knot in a private wedding ceremony sometime soon. After a brief break up last year, the duo apparently realized how much they truly loved one another after Roberts' emotional battle with MDS. Happy to be healthy and back on the air, Roberts is finally ready to take her relationship with girlfriend Sahara to the next level.

Storm Sahara, Robin Roberts Girlfriend PHOTOS, UPDATE: 'GMA' Host's Partner, Twitter Revealed? Tweets about the Fight for Love, Secret Wedding Soon?

According to an alleged inside source for the National Enquirer (in a story published back in February):

"Storm didn't want to be in the spotlight, and the rela­tionship soured. Robin was devastated, but understood why they broke up. Now that Robin has re­covered from her illness, she's going to try and get Storm back in her life... She realized over the course of her illness how much she truly loved Storm and vowed that if she made it through, she would not only rekindle their love - but she would ask Storm to marry her and have a gay wedding."

Apparently the couple wasn't officially together during the time Roberts was recovering from her bone marrow transplant to treat myelodysplastic syn­drome (MDS), a rare blood disorder. But the romantic partners have since worked out their differences, and are already planning a "secret" wedding:

"Robin and Storm are back together and quietly planning their wedding," another sources reveals to RhymeswithSnitch. "Robin and Storm are planning a private wedding ceremony with just the two of them, no friends or family. A date has already been set, but no announcement will be made."

In an exclusive MediaTakeOut follow-up, an insider insists that they witnessed Sahara and Roberts together at Manhattan's City Clerk's Office to pick up a marriage certificate on March 25.

Roberts has been romantically "linked" to former Czech American tennis player and coach Martina Navratilova as well as former Auburn University basketball coach Nell Fortner. But again, these are just RUMORS currently circulating on the web. Roberts never officially came out as being in a romantic relationship with either woman.

Now reports have it that Roberts may be dating a fellow colleague at 'GMA' named Storm Sahara... one unsupported claim currently flying around on the web insists: "It is no secret that Robin Roberts long time girlfriend is Storm Sahara, it's under raps because of their 23 year age difference."

Indeed, rumors suggest that Sahara, an independent film director and a prominent figure in the LGBT community, is 23 younger than 52-year-old Roberts.

Another source who works closely with Roberts goes on to confirm the wedding rumors in an email sent to Mstars on March 22:

"I work closely with Robin Roberts on a daily basis, so yes I know a great deal about her and Storm Sahara. They are indeed extremely private but only because of Robin. Storm is known throughout the LGBT community. She's an independent film director - she also owns a few boutiques throughout North and South Carolina. Since [Mstars'] last month's publication, things have been very silent between those two. However, they are back together, and from what I know a date has been put in place for a private wedding."

The source continues:

"According to Robin there will be no family or coworkers involved. Kind of sad because I thought at least she would invite her Glam Squad or co-anchors. But this is their wish in agreement...

...I admire Robin - she's a wonderful person with a big heart. They are a very beautiful couple, and I feel because of Robins' position she shouldn't be afraid to tell the world about her beautiful wife to be."
