The CW network continues Season 11 of Supernatural. As the war against the Darkness continues, will Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find Chuck/God (Rob Benedict)'s help with taking down Lucifer, who is now in possession of Castiel (Misha Collins)?
As we previously mentioned, all things have changed in the ongoing war against The Darkness. In his attempt to find another human vessel, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) actually thought of inhabiting Sam (Jared Padalecki), the one who bested and humiliated him. Knowing Sam and Dean needed a win desperately, Castiel made the sacrifice and left himself be taken over by Lucifer. Will Lucifer fulfill his promise and get rid of The Darkness, or have Sam and Dean already failed?
According to TV Line, Rob Benedict will reprise his role as Chuck. Dean and Sam's prophet pal, who wrote about their adventures in a series of bestselling cult novels, will return near the eleventh season's end. Will God be answering Sam and Dean's prayers at this point? Will God join them in their battles against his sister, the Darkness?
Details about Chuck's reappearance are currently being kept under wraps. With the storyline's heavy focus on God's sister, we can only speculate there will be a confrontation between the Creator, Lucifer, and the Darkness. Or will God respond to one of the Winchesters' pleas for help?
The laster viewers saw Chuck (Benedict), he had made a surprise cameo at the end of the tenth season's milestone 200th installment.
As IMDB states, in the upcoming Vessel, Dean finds himself sent back 1944, trapped inside the fated submarine mission that is destined to sink the Hand of God. While continuing his charade with Sam, who waits for Dean's return, Lucifer/Castiel decides to make next move.
Season 11 of Supernatural continues on the CW Thursdays 9pm.
