The Winnipeg Jets vs. the New York Islanders battle it out on the ice at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on Tuesday, April at 7:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Jets head into Tuesday night's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Eastern Southeast Conference. Winnipeg snags the overall no 18 spot in the division, with an 18-17-2 record. According to ESPN sports columnist Scott Burnside, " Just when you want to believe in the Jets they go completely sideways, as they have gone 2-4-0 in their past six games. They've been outscored 17-2 during those four losses and have allowed Carolina and Washington to stay in the hunt for the Southeast Division title."
Meanwhile, the Islanders snag the no 3 spot in the NHL Eastern Atlantic Conference, and the no 19 overall spot with a 17-16-3 record (out of 30 teams). As Burnside points out, "The Isles have won three of four but, if they're serious about returning to the playoffs, this week will prove a good test as they face New Jersey, Winnipeg and Washington. We're guessing that winning at least two of three will be crucial to playoff hopes."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels TSN-Jets and MSG-Plus, but fans can also listen in on the radio at TSN Radio 1290 and 88.7 WRHU.
