BeyHIve are you ready? Beyoncé talks the evolution of Mrs. Carter, being a feminist, how Blue Ivy changed her life; and releases a teaser video for an April 4 surprise.
It is officially Beyoncé overload!!! Not only is Blue Ivy's mom covering "Vogue" for a second time in 2013, but she is just added another title to her résumé; modern-day feminist.
When asked if she was a feminist Bey said:
"That word can be very extreme...But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything? I’m just a woman and I love being a woman...'I do believe in equality and that we have a way to go and it's something that's pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept. But I'm happily married. I love my husband."
Beyonce also address her latest new found confidence. Fans got a sample of the new Bey on "Bow Dow." Mrs. Carter is here and she has daughter Blue Ivy to thank. "I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I've ever been," Beyoncé told "Vogue." "It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, "OK, this is what you were born to do." The purpose of my body became completely different."
In more BeyHive news, Beyonce's teaser video with the hashtag #BeyHereNow was released April 3. There are no details as to what is going down, but the "mystery" will be revealed at 9 am, April 4, on Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z's fifth wedding anniversary.
