It seems like years since Avril Lavigne first graced fans with her hit single "Complicated." Since then Lavigne has had hits like "Girlfriend" and "S8ter Boi," but hasn't reached that super stardom she began with. Lavigne's latest attempt will be with her new single, "Here's to Never Growing Up," due out April 9. The Canadian singer, who is now engaged to Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger, even graces the cover of the new single naked with a teddy bear.

Since her highly successful debut albumm Let Go made Lavigne a huge hit at the age of 17, Lavigne has gone through her fair share of drama. Lavigne married Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley in 2006, but the couple got divorced in 2010. Lavigne reportedly was dating Brody Jenner from 2010 until 2012, until meeting her now fiance Kroeger.

Lavigne's "Here's to Never Growing Up" will be released April 9 and will also be played by Ryan Seacrest on the radio on the same day. Lavigne has already teased the single with a 13 second preview, which you can listen to below. Lavigne's fifth studio album will be released under Epic Records. Hopefully for Lavigne the new record sounds more like her debut album than her 2011 track list from "Goodbye Lullaby."

Lavigne also just recently released the cover art for her new single, which features her naked, only covered up by a teddy bear. Lavigne tweeted out the photo Tuesday.

As for Lavigne and her Nickelback rocker fiance, they are in the process of planning their wedding. There hasn't been much news surrounding their future nuptials, but Kroeger told Men's Health back in October that he is following Lavigne's lead with the wedding planning. "She's got great ideas, Kroeger said. "I would have gone a little too traditional, I think, and she's giving it a real rock 'n' roll edge. The groomsmen won't be wearing piano neckties [but]let's just say she's taking the bull by the horns and steering the ship towards what is going to be the most unique wedding that the planet has probably ever seen."

We will have to wait and see how the wedding turns out and, if in fact, it's the "most unique wedding that the planet has probably ever seen."
