DC Entertainment takes viewers behind-the-scenes with Season 4 of DC All Access. In an exclusive interview with MStars News, host Tiffany Smith talks about the launch of the fourth season, working with co-host Jason Iman, and what fans should expect from her upcoming segments featuring Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

DC All Access offers fans an insider's look into DC Entertainment's world of comics, film, television, games, and animation projects. After three seasons, DC All Access has exploded in popularity, with nearly one million subscribers on YouTube and an average of 250,000 views per segment. With the recent launch of season four, upcoming episodes will include exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at the most talked about DC projects.

Before her next must-see segment, the DC All Access host dishes about being part of the hottest news in comics, her recent set visit with The Flash, and having to choose sides between the Dark Night and Man of Steel.

MStars News: With the launch of Season 4 of DC All Access, what does the show mean to you after three seasons?

Tiffany Smith: Well, when I started, I was obviously such a DC fan girl! That excitement was there! And now, I just feel like I am just a part of the family which is awesome! It feels like there is just this energy between the comics, TV, and film! And getting to be a part of all sides of that and talk to directors, to the writers, and artists is so much fun! I definitely don't get to know some of the super high level stuff, but what everybody gets to know too, its fun because I get to be a part of it with the fans.

MS: Tell me about finding the rhythm and chemistry with your co-host Jason Inman?

TS: Since the first day Jason came in, we had great chemistry. The first episode that we had him do, we made him wear a toga! [Laughs] So that kind of just gave me the impression that, "Okay, this guy is totally game to do whatever!" And he is such a fantastic comic book fan! A lot of times where we'll talk about stuff and I am like, "Wait I didn't know that Jason!"

So its nice to have somebody that you can kind of go back and forth with on comic knowledge and then also be able to do you know, "Did you watch this episode of The Flash? What did you think? What character do you want to see? What Easter Eggs did you see? So I think that the chemistry is naturally special when its comic book nerds,. You get fans that are tweeting to us or on Instagram, and you automatically feel connected to them because we all love these characters.

MS: I am glad you mentioned The Flash because it's MStars' favorite TV series. Tell me about meeting with the cast.

TS: I think its probably one of my favorite things to get to do as well! We got to do a set visit! And Grant [Gustin] is probably just one of the nicest guys ever! Just how busy he is, I am like "He probably actually is The Flash!" [Laughs]

But its been great! Not only do I get to do stuff through DC All Access but I get to do CW Fan Talk as well about The Flash! I feel like there is just this energy between everything that is going on and getting to be on the set is always fun! Because they're shooting a little bit a head of what we've seen, so you see them trying to be like, "Wait am I allowed to talk about that? Did I just tell you something you're not supposed to know?" Which as a fan is always super fun!

MS: With the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Suicide Squad movie, what are you most excited about these two?

TS: Well I am super pumped for both of them, who will win? I was just talking to the crew on set right now, I was like "Okay question, so are you Batman or Superman?" And then I was like, "Second question! Are you Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne, because there is a difference!"

Honestly, I've got to say I am a Batman girl, but on the other side of the coin, I would pick Clark Kent! So, we get to have great conversation like that! When that last trailer dropped, everyone freaked out! getting to see so much more of Ben Affleck as Batman is so cool! You start doing all of the Easter Egg hunting and trying to figure out if this is from Dark Night Returns.

Suicide Squad! I mean I think its super exciting because it's a fresh take from a comic book film/ I think we've never really seen a villain team-up yet. I think the casting was so incredible, and then tying in with that I mean we've got Suicide Squad Most Wanted: Deadshot And Katana coming out right now. I think that's a great segue for people, because a lot of the new fans are seeing these trailers and want to get to know the characters more. Having a comic that is about two of those characters is such a great tie in.

MS: Among the past three seasons, do you have a favorite interview?

TS: Oh man, that's so hard! I've got a couple! I've got to say one of my first interviews, when we were piloting the show, I sat down with Jim Lee. Reading comics and seeing his artwork growing up and then getting to be in the room with him. And just having him start sketching on the table. meanwhile my heart is like, "DON'T MESS IT UP!" I'm like he can't mess it up because he drew it. And having him talk about that he hides Easter Eggs in things and showing me some of the work that he was doing, that was probably one of the coolest moments for me!

I was like, "Okay, this is what it's going to be like from here on out! I am going to get to talk to some of the people that I have looked at as icons and you know, its been really cool!"

MS: Is there one now  that stands out to you?

TS: This past year, getting to sit down with Frank Miller was incredible! Because you look at obviously The Dark Night, for most people that is an iconic version of Batman. So talking with him before the comic came out, and kind of feeling his excitement was really cool! Getting to ask him, "Do you just hate Batman?" and he was like "YES!" [Laughs] That was so cool to hear Frank Miller say! I think those two were pretty epic interviews for me.

MS: You know it's summer when San Diego Comic-Con rolls into town. What are you most excited about this comic con?

TS: For comic con, I am excited because Batman v Superman would have come out. So we'll all get to finally be talking about what happened. And the fight scenes, which I am sure are going to be epic! And then, you know the hype for Suicide Squad is really going to be in full swing at comic con. I love going to comic con and seeing people cosplay. Seeing what characters people are really connecting with.so This year, I am going to predict that comic con is going to be the year of Suicide Squad.

MS: What upcoming segments do you have next?

TS: We are really excited about Greg Pak, obviously working on Action Comics, but he's also starting a new run on Teen Titans, which I am really excited about! I always like seeing people take on that tea- up and how we can make that interaction and the connection between them a little bit different. There is an interview coming up with Frank Miller. We got to talk to him before the comic launched, getting to hear Frank's reaction to the fans as they're getting to read this new story. I am really really excited about that!

Then it's getting to lead up to Batman. v Superman! A couple weeks ago, I got to sit down with Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL to talk about the scoring and the soundtracks!I think that is probably going up there in one of my top lists of interviews ever! Because it was just so cool hearing Hans talk about doing the sound for Batman before The Dark Night with Chris Nolan and then coming in,, doing it again on this one and doing it with Junkie. I think fans will be really excited to hear that kind of inside look at Batman v. Superman.

MS: What other projects are you working on now?

TS: This is where I can pretend that I have some of the "speed force!" [Laughs] I stay really busy. I do DC All Access, and then I mentioned earlier, CW had me come in to do CW Fan Talk, but just on The Flash. So we get to sit down and live chat with fans, and have guests come on. We had Teddy Sears come on, we had the first AD from the show come on the other day. So that's been really cool to work on that and still stay super connected with the fans. Then I host some shows for Fandango. I always get a really good inside scoop on the movies coming out. This is just where I am a geek to the full extent. I co-host a podcast all about Star Wars. I get the comic book side of things, and the "far, far away" world as well.
