Who will be going home next on season 12 of FOX's "American Idol?" The show is down to its top seven singers, but there still seem to be a couple singers who don't belong and they both happen to be male. In fact, they are the final two male singers on the show this season, Burnell Taylor and Lazaro Arbos. After last night's rock performances, will Taylor or Arbos be eliminated by America on tonight's (Thursday April 4) "American Idol" voting results show?

Out of the seven remaining contestants, the females all seem to be the strongest singers. On Wednesday night, they once again proved that, putting on strong showings. However, Arbos and Taylor both struggled badly at times again last night while trying to perform classic rock songs.

Taylor struggled while singing Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name" looking uncomfortable and just didn't sing very well. He later redeemed himself a little when he performed "The Letter" by the Box Tops along with Candice Glover. However, Glover was clearly outperforming Taylor during the song.

Arbos did the exact opposite of Taylor and sang well on his own, but messed up his duet. Arbos sang Queen's "We Are the Champions" and got pretty good comments from the judges. It was a pretty good performance, but still wasn't one of the strongest of the night. On the other hand, when Arbos sang Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" with Angie Miller he once again forgot the words to a song. Of course Nicki Minaj bluntly pointed this out and it just looked bad on Arbos.

Glover, Miller, Kree Harrison, and Amber Holcomb are the clear front runners out of the remaining seven singers. Janelle Arthur sang very well last night and she shouldn't be going home before Taylor or Arbos. Out of the two remaining male contestants who is going home?

There is one other thing to consider. Minaj has a much publicized Twitter spat with Devin Velez, who was just voted off "Idol." This whole drama seems to be portraying Minaj as the villain and the male singers on the show as the underdogs. Could this actually help Arbos and Taylor? We will have to wait and see Thursday night. However, it does look like Arbos' time may have come. I would be shocked if Arbos or Taylor isn't voted off tonight.
