Ready for the latest "pregnancy and wedding" rumors surrounding Angelina Jolie and her longtime beau, Brad Pitt? Apparently, the 37-year-old "Wanted" starlet was recently spotted sans her flashy engagement ring... because it's too UGLY for her style! Meanwhile, a shady report in In Touch magazine claims that Jolie apparently "can't seem to tear herself away" from ex-hubby Billy Bob Thornton... is the sexy actress cheating on Pitt behind his back? According to a recent story in the popular Star magazine, Jolie was spotted on the streets of Congo during a humanitarian mission last month... without the diamond engagement ring given to her by the "Interview with a Vampire" heartthrob. The gossip tabloid claims that Jolie was "seen wearing a simple gold band in place of her engagement bauble." And why, exactly... because she apparently finds her actual engagement ring UGLY! (Of course it has nothing to do with her attempts at dressing-down in a poverty stricken country...):

An alleged "insider" reveals, "Angie really hates that ring... It's so big and gaudy, just not her style at all. She's tries to get out of wearing it as much as she can. Angie knows Brad spent a lot of time designing it for her, and she would never hurt his feelings by telling him she isn't crazy about it. But she really just doesn't like the ring."

Right... which is why Pitt hired Robert Procop, a designer who's worked with Jolie for years and is now partner in her new jewelry line, to help style the ring...

Star mag ran a similar story last year... and it still remains a sensationalized fabrication. A close source tells Gossip Cop that such rumors are completely "ridiculous."

Meanwhile, ANOTHER seedy report in In Touch claims that Jolie has been spending ample time with ex-flame Billy Bob Thorton... and she doesn't want anyone (especially Brad) to know about it.

"She was at his house a lot in March," an alleged source tells the tabloid. "They just hung out and talked for hours."

Hmm... does that really mean that she's cheating?

Again, In Touch ran a similar story last year, insisting that Jolie penned a "secret love letter" to Thorton and that her relationship with Pitt was "on the rocks"... that also proved false.

A friend close to the situation denies the "cheating" rumors, telling Gossip Cop that Jolie and Thorton are "just friends. Nothing more."
