After director R. Balki's dry run at the box office with last year's Shamitabh, he is now looking to hit it big with the upcoming Ki & Ka, featuring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead, and with the newly released song "Ji Huzoori," he is only seeing a surge in the fan following for his film.
As soon as the film's trailers were launched, Ki & Ka was lauded for being different. From the trailers, one could gauge that the protagonists, Khan and Kapoor, play an urban Delhi-based married couple, but with a twist. While the wife is an ambitious woman, the husband has no qualms carrying out household chores.
Just when the peppy "High Heels" number released from the album, which was nothing less than foot-tapping, the newest emotional track "Ji Huzoori" is sure to tug at the heartstrings. Music composer Mithoon doubles up as the playback singer along with Deepali for the situational song, which depicts tough times in a happy marriage.
The 2 States star Kapoor, who is playing the house-husband in the film, quickly took to social networking site Twitter to share his excitement about the new song.
My favourite song #jihuzoori it defines every modern day relationship... Thank u @Mithoon11 for this melody @TSeries https://t.co/2Pvv3Sp92B

The touching number depicts the protagonists going through an emotional turmoil in their happy-go-lucky marriage and is set to redefine the ups and downs in an average Indian marriage. According to Times of India, the lyrics penned by Sayeed Qadri are soulful and will echo with the feelings of a married couple.
Balki's quirky rom-com Ki & Ka challenges the conventional gender stereotypes, which are prevalent in the urban Indian societies and hints at changes that can be undertaken for a marriage to function smoothly. According to DNA India, the movie will also feature Balki's lucky charm, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan in cameos. Ki & Ka is slated to release across theatres on April 1, 2016.
