The latest episode of The Flash Season 2 may have featured a gigantic humanoid shark monster, Arrow's John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson), but the biggest shocker in "King Shark" was saved for the last moment when Zoom's identity was finally revealed. Although the villain has been voiced by veteran actor Tony Todd, it turns out that Zoom actually looks a lot like Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears)! But how would Barry Allen react to the jaw-dropping discovery? Actor Grant Gustin has the answer!

Gustin recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly, where he revealed that Barry wouldn't necessarily be upset with Jay or Zoom. The Scarlet Speedster would actually be mad at himself!

"It's betrayal and disappointment in himself because it's almost like he's been through this before, and he can't believe he let himself go through it again," Gustin revealed.

This isn't the first time that Barry has been betrayed by someone he looked up to. In the first season, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) turned out to be the Reverse Flash and wasn't even the real Wells at all. The real Wells had long been murdered by Eobard Thawne, who then took the scientist's identity and manipulated Barry's life so he would eventually become The Flash.

But does this mean that Jay hasn't exactly been telling the truth about Zoom's identity? The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has previously confirmed that Jay didn't completely lie to Barry (or the viewers).

"I don't think you can assume anything that Jay has said to the team or the audience is the full truth," he told Comic Book Resources. "It is a version of the truth."

As confusing as it is to find out that Zoom could possibly be Earth-1 Jay or Hunter Zolomon, it seems like the villain himself is struggling with the loss of his doppelganger. The first thing that Zoom says when he removes his mask is, "Well, this is a complication."

What will happen next? Find out when "Trajectory," the 16th episode of The Flash Season 2, airs on The CW on March 22.
