Lil Wayne Supports Leonardo DiCaprio & Stephen Curry, Bizarre Oscars & NBA Twitter Praise

Rapper Lil Wayne got a bit candid on Twitter over the weekend. First, while watching the exciting Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game on Sunday (February 28):

@LilTunechi: "that lil dude amazing."

Obviously, the "Drop the World" superstar is referring to NBA's "greatest shooter," Stephen Curry (who actually stands at 6'3" - Wayne's only about 5'5").

So, maybe Curry should join the infamous YMCMB crew?

@LilTunechi: "I'm sry but I gotta get my azz on my plane & go see dis lil dude kourtside! I gotta witness dis sh!t & shake his hand. He badd."

Weezy then compares the baller athlete to hip-hop protege, Drake:

@LilTunechi: "he reminds me of Drizzy. He always hit da shot. & me as da koach, I expek him 2."

Interesting...

But now on to the evening's next big event - the 2016 Academy Awards!

@LilTunechi: "Dam i hav to hit the stage & kant watch the Oscars. But rootin for my brother, Leonardo DiCaprio to take it home."

Wayne's currently performing on his Dedication Tour with Rae Sremmurd. But he still has time to reflect:

Well, Wayne's wish did come true:

Although somewhat random, Wayne's social media feed typically remains positive and upbeat. That's sometimes hard to find, nowadays!
