Beyonce, Jay-Z Spotted In Havana, Mobbed By Fans [PHOTOS]

A recent trip to Havana by Jay-Z and Beyonce caused quite the disturbance in the neighborhood around their choice of restaurant. Police were called in to quell the mobbing fans around the restaurant, which the susperstars were visiting with their mothers. (Check out photos here).

La Guarida is a famous restaurant and a staple on the tourist circuit of the Cuban capital. According to the Associated Press, Beyonce toured the restaurant with waitress Silvia Fernandez and looked at pictures of previous famous patrons such as Jack Nicholson, Danny Glover, Will Smith and Jim Belushi.

"She was beautiful, without a drop of makeup, very natural,'' waitress Silvia Fernandez told the AP. "What happened with the people was incredible."

At the restaurant, fans gathered outside and chanted Beyonce's name until Queen Bey waved from the balcony.

Jay-Z and Beyonce spent Beyonce touring Old Havana, occasionally stopping to speak with fans. Beyonce stopped to take pictures with local schoolchildren as Jigga enjoyed a Cuban cigar.

It is not clear what the purpose of Beyonce and Jay-Z's trip is, as Americans are only allowed to travel to Cuba under academic, religious, journalistic or cultural exchange licenses.

When reached for comment by the AP, the artists' publicists did not immediately respond to emailed requests for comment, and the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, which is responsible for licensing approved travel to Cuba, said it does not comment on individual cases.
