The season finale of The X-Files miniseries ended with a shocker, as Scully and Agent Miller are taken away by (why didn't we see this coming?) a UFO. However, Robbie Amell, who plays Miller in the show, says that it isn't so bad to have his character disappear mysteriously into space. After all, his character Ronnie Raymond has been killed off not once but twice in The Flash Season 2!
In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Amell spoke about playing the iconic comic book character. The 27-year-old actor states:
"I actually really enjoy playing Ronnie for the times that I have. He's a regular guy, which is sometimes more fun for the actor. You get to do scenes with Danielle and Grant and just be a regular person, who has these problems. He has that polar opposite ability where he's not only a superhero. Then, he's also on fire. He flies through the air. It's one of those things where I get to be the grounded regular guy and then the Superman version of a superhero. Getting to see the final product -- the visual effects are so good -- is really cool. And, I just like to go shoot with the people. I have fun when I'm up there. Good dinners in Vancouver. I think my largest fanbase might be from "The Flash," which is crazy because I've only done seven or eight episodes."
Although there is still a huge possibility that Amell could reprise his role, fans better start to accept that Ronnie Raymond will not be returning to The Flash.
"I will honestly tell you I have not had any talks about coming back," he said, although he did add that he would be interested to return to work with showrunner Greg Berlanti.
"If he asked me to come back and asked me to play a tree -- if Firestorm was turned into a tree -- I'd be willing to do it. Any time those guys want me to come back, I will," Amell said before joking that he would like it if the character remains alive.
"I'd prefer if they didn't kill me again," he said.
