With all the craziness floating around Justin Bieber's recent activities and the seemingly crumbling relationship of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, it can be hard to remember that the supersstars are capable of generating good news too. The superstar duo are set to appear in a one hour TV special benefiting education called The Real Change Project: Artists for Education.
The special will also star Lady Antebellum, Pitbull and Jason Mraz. It will consist of musical performances and clips of celebrities going to their hometown to sponsor a classroom.
From founder and CEO of Real Change Productions Liam Murphy:
"Teachers are often the unsung heroes, while actors, musicians and pro athletes get all the praise. I'm willing to bet, though, that each one of us has had at least one teacher who changed our lives forever. The goal of our show is to not only honor these teachers but to also inspire Americans to adopt a classroom and support those who are shaping the minds of tomorrow by providing the supplies that enable them to keep making a difference today."
Justin's recent actions have been less than beneficial to his image (fighting with paparazzi, canceling concerts, allegedly spitting on neighbors) so on top of helping out a great cause, this should cast a postive light on the Canadian performer.
Miley on the other hand has had to repeatedly confront cheating allegations and outside sources claiming that her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth is falling apart so a report of something good that she is involved in must be a welcome respite.
If you want to catch the special, it will air April 23 on CBS at 7 pm EST.
