What would you get the man who made it possible for an R-rated film to become one of the top-grossing movies of all time? If you were The Walking Dead and the upcoming Cinemax drama, Outcast, creator Robert Kirkman, you would probably get Deadpool's Rob Liefeld a life-sized statue of the character immortalized by Ryan Reynolds!
Liefeld has just shared a picture on Instagram showing the Deadpool creator with Kirkman and the statue of the Merc with the Mouth.
"HOLEEE #Deadpool baby!! Knock on the door this morning and my best friend of all space and time Mr. @robertkirkman," Liefeld wrote, adding that Kirkman had brought the statue to him personally.
"Simply blown away!!!! Thank you Robert, this is absolutely amazing!!" he wrote, adding the hashtags "#robliefeld," "#walkingdead" and "#Marvel."

Kirkman and Liefeld may still be good friends, but they have undergone some difficulties in the past. They once collaborated on the short-lived comic book series The Infinite, which was discontinued due to "creative differences" back in 2012. Luckily, their friendship was able to survive the conflict.
Kirkman certainly has a taste for the undead. In addition to creating The Walking Dead, Kirkman is also responsible for Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He has collaborated with Spawn creator Todd McFarlane on Haunt, which is about a tortured priest and the ghost of his murdered brother.
Liefeld is a self-taught artist who has illustrated for X-Force, New Mutants, Wolverine and Youngblood. He is one of the founders of Image Comics together with McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Jim Lee, Erik Larsen, Marc Silvestri and Jim Valentino.
The Deadpool movie, which stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson, has just crossed the $300 million dollar mark in domestic sales and earned a stunning $673.2 million worldwide.
