There is little doubt that fans are looking forward to season 6 of Game of Thrones so they can finally find out if Jon Snow will survive his murder by the hands of the Night's Watch. However, there has been a lot of secrecy about the fate of the fallen Lord Commander and it is still unclear whether Jon will actually return to the show. Now Kit Harington has spoken up about coming back as the beloved character but his appearance isn't exactly what fans are hoping for.
Harington recently spoke to Time Out London, where he made it clear that he is no longer a part of Game of Thrones.
"Look, I'm not in the show anymore," Harington said firmly. "I'm definitely not in the new series."
This is rather surprising news, especially since the Spooks star has been spotted on the Belfast set of Game of Thrones. When asked about this, Harington confirmed he will make an appearance in Season 6, but his character will not exactly be "lively."
"I filmed some scenes of me being dead - it's some of my best work," he admitted.

In addition to that, Harington stated that he is not aware of what will happen in the show, but can only comment on his appearance as a dead body.
"I don't have a clue," he said, adding, "I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"
It certainly sounds like there is no more hope for fans who still believe Jon is still alive. However, it is also possible that Harington is simply trying to throw people off their theories about the return of Ned Stark's bastard.
Game of Thrones Season 6 will finally air on HBO on April 24.
