Supermodel and two time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Kate Upton makes news wherever she goes. Whether it's being to asked prom by a teenage boy, gracing the cover of a new magazine, or just holding an adorable tiger cub. Upton just posted a picture on her Twitter of herself and a tiger cub in what some took as a jab at her rumored former boyfriend, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.
Upton was rumored to have been dating Verlander last summer. Although neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, some feel this recent tweet from Upton could have been a bit of a jab at the Tigers pitcher. Along with the below photo of Upton cuddling up to the tiger cub @KateUpton tweeted on Friday April 5, "Cuddling with my favorite tiger :)" What do you think, was this a jab at Verlander?
Adding even more intrigue to the tiger Twitter picture is the fact that Verlander himself posted a picture of him holding a tiger cub on his Twitter account in late March (see below). @JustinVerlander tweeted, "Check out my new pet TIGER! Hoping Riley gets along with him."
So do you think Upton and Verlander are possibly still dating and having some fun with each other on Twitter? Were they ever dating?
Also, in case you wanted an update on the teenager who asked Upton to prom, it looks like the supermodel is too busy to attend 17-year-old Jake Davidson's high school dance. After Davidson asked Upton to be his prom date through the below YouTube video titled "Kate Upton, Will You Go to Prom With Me?", Upton tweeted a fairly promising response. "How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)" Upton tweeted. However, Upton recently told People magazine that it looks like she won't be able to join the teenager at his prom due to her busy schedule. "I'm not sure if I'll be able to go with him or not, due to my schedule," Upton told People. "I want to, but I just don't know if I can make it work. But I really appreciated being asked; it made me feel really great!"
Well you have to give the guy credit for trying. Check out his video below.
