Heading into end of Week 1 of the MLB 2013 regular season, ESPN predicts the season outlook team power rankings. The Royals head into the 2013 regular season at the no 18 spot - as sports columnist Diane Firstman points out, "The Wil Myers-James Shields trade will be debated for quite a while, but if 'Big Game James' can carry K.C. to the playoffs in the next two years, then Royals GM Dayton Moore will be canonized. Shields' first assignment: the White Sox in Chicago."

The Royals currently hold a 2-2 win record, having just played the Chicago White Sox.

The Phillies snag the no 24 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Bill Baer, "It will be an uphill battle for the Phillies to catch the Nationals and the new-and-improved Braves with an aging and injury-prone roster, but they will benefit by having one of baseball's easiest first-half schedules."

Philly goes into Saturday's game with one win and three losses after playing the Atlanta Braves. Kansas City defeated Philly in Game 1 with a score of 13-4.

The ball game will be broadcasted live on MLBN, FSKC and TCN, but fans can listen in on the radio at 1210 WPHT, WZXL, WIBW, and 610 Sports.
