Heading into the end of Week 1 of the MLB 2013 regular season, ESPN predicts the season outlook team power rankings. The Red Sox currently rank the no 15 overall team. As sports columnist Hunter Golden points out, "After a positive spring where the rotation posted an overall 2.13 ERA, the Red Sox hope that success carries over when they open the season against the Yankees before traveling north for their first real test of the season -- against the Blue Jays."

Boston currently holds a 3-2 winning record, having just played the NY Yankees earlier this week. The Sox proved victorious in Game 1 against Toronto with a score of 6-4.

The Blue Jays snag the no 8 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Matthias Koster, "Excitement is palpable among Jays fans. Offseason acquisitions have transformed Toronto from also-rans to front-runners in the AL East. It's World Series or bust."

After playing the Cleveland Indians, Toronto has two win and three losses. The Jays won Game 2 against Boston with a score of 5-0.

The ball game will be broadcasted live on NESN and SNET, but fans can listen in on the radio at 1013 ESPN, WEEI, The Big Jab  Sportsnet 590, Sportsnet 690, and CHML.
