5 Reasons Why Hollywood Won't Miss 'Mean Girls' Lindsay Lohan After Move to London

Lindsay Lohan claims she has left the city of smog for the city of fog. The 29-year-old Mean Girls actress moved to London last spring for her stage debut in David Mamet's Speed the Plow. She has since decided to stay believing being out of the Hollywood limelight will help her mature, grow up and cease to be the object of celebrity gossip.

A source close to Lohan says, "She will never come to Hollywood. The second she lands here, she is followed all day long. People don't like her in Hollywood, and she knows. I think she's trying to change people's perception of her. She sounds more humble and much more calm. I think it was good for her to get away from her family -- and she has said [moving to London] was the best thing that ever happened."

In addition to a much calmer lifestyle, the U.K. has also supplied Lohan with a new beau, 22-year-old Russian business heir Egor Tarabasov. According to The Mirror, the two met in London and have been spending much time together. Lohan recently posted photos on Instagram of the two of them vacationing in Gstaad.

Of course even across the pond the former child star still manages to generate some gossip. In a recent interview with The Sun, Lohan states she once turned down a night with Harry Styles. It seems the One Direction singer showed up at her hotel room one night looking for some fun but the Herbie Fully Loaded star responded, “I’m going to bed but it was nice to meet you.” Lohan later admitting to not knowing who he was.

At present it seems Lohan has no regrets about leaving Tinsel Town behind. Of course in fairness, there are many reasons why Hollywood may not miss her either. Here is a list of the top 5.
