The Snowman is saying R.I.P to the game, with a series of remixes for the club banger originally featuring 2 Chainz, Jeezy has out done himself with the latest G-MIX, featuring Big Snoop Dogg, Too Short and E-40 Fonzerelli.
The original version featured on Jeezy's It's the World mixtape became a recent success with Jeezy's star-studded LA mansion video shoot.
Although Jeezy is the king of hood success, he has yet to be recognized for his skillful streetwise lyricism by the Grammy's or American Music Awards. Nevertheless, Jeezy's street cred speaks to his longevity in the rap industry. The Snowman, was recently appointed Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records, and has a host of top charting singles.
With all of Jeezy's success, it came as a surprise that his former friend and business partner for CMT music, Demetrius Ellerbee claimed he helped Jeezy found CTE Music in 2000, and was his business partner, the Hot New Hip Hop reported. Ellerbee declared that he was owed half of the total profit the rapper had made to date, which he estimated was at least $5 million. He has also said that he served as executive producer on two of Jeezy's albums.
Besides releases hot new R.I.P remixes Jeezy also released court documents contradicting Ellerbee's claims. In short, Jeezy denied their partnership. Jeezy claimed that the two were not friends nor did Ellerbee contribute to Jeezy's albums.
While Jeezy's camp has yet to comment on the issue, what is for sure is that Jeezt does know how to make a hot song.
