In the latest episode of HBO's Girls, Hannah goes to a retreat with her mother, fleeing away from her own doomed relationship and cheating. In the meantime, things get serious between Adam and Jessa: in Japan, Shoshannah's miserable in this recap with spoilers.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) and her mom, Loreen (Becky Ann Baker) go to a retreat to find their "inner goddesses." Loreen faces a major life crisis: her husband, recently came out, and she's weighing in on whether or not to divorce. Upon speaking to divorcées in the retreat and hearing their stories, she ultimately decides to stick around with her husband, thinking it's too late for her to start over.
Hannah is bored, but she begins to realize she still prefers this to being with her boyfriend, Fran. As she tries to send some e-mails, an annoying worker tries to take her phone, until a yoga instructor Holly (Lena Hall) saves her.
Hannah ends up getting it on with the yoga instructor, but she's so confused that she steps back midway. She then goes up to her mom and the two conclude that the Horvaths' relationship screwed Hannah up.
I've never had sex with a woman before. I've done other stuff. I went to Oberlin, so I'm not, like a monster. #Girls pic.twitter.com/vgIsHQTaIS

Back home, Jessa Johansson (Jemima Kirke) and Adam Sackler (Adam Driver) continue theirrelationship, which is getting serious. During the episode, Jessa's sister, Minerva (Marianna Palka), visits town; sweetly enough, Jessa actually introduces him as her "boyfriend."
The three go to dinner, and Jessa explains that she's back in school. Over the course of the season, Jessa has been focused on going to her meetings and studying, but for her sister, Jessa's still a mess, so she won't pay for her tuition...so Adam steps up, offering to do pay himself with the money he got from big pharma commercials.
Could it be too soon?

In Japan, Shosh (Zosia Mamet) is now working at a Cat Café. Her former boss, Abigail (Aidy Bryant) pays her a visit, still feeling guilty, and she's surprised to see how happy Shosh is.
Shosh gives Abigail a tour of the city. They're joined by her new boyfriend, Yoshi (Hiro Mizushima), who says he and Shoshanna are about to lose their virginities to each other, showing the first crack in Shosh's seemingly über-happy life.
Yoshi leaves and Shosh breaks down: Japan makes her miserable. She's homesick, she's tired of everyone apologizing for everything and her boyfriend obviously has no idea who she is.
Before Yoshi comes back, Shosh excuses herself and goes out, walking around Tokyo's empty streets. Will she go back to America now?
The next episode of Girls premieres next Sunday on HBO.
