Disney's musical film, Frozen is finally getting its sequel. It is believed that Disney's musical film, Frozen 2, will be a lot different from its prequel. From the recent buzz, it looks like the film will address social issues like being LGBT and it may show a lesbian Elsa.
In an interview with Collider, Kristen Bell, the 35-year-old actress who gives voice to Princess Anna, revealed that the story writers and the production department are working on a great story.
"It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it."
Now, the rumors are rife that it is possible that Frozen 2 might address social issues like being LGBT in the film. It is probable that the film, which is said to be rated PG, will not show any explicit content, but Queen Elsa may tackle such issues in her reign. In an interview with MTV, Frozen co-director, Chris Buck revealed that they are going to use Frozen 2's platform to talk about issues which can create a difference in society.
"When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity," Buck said.
Academy Award winning song, "Let it Go" from Frozen, and Elsa's character development in the film was a hit among the LGBT community and according to BBC, many fans did believe that the song refers to Elsa's way of coming out in society and revealing her sexual preferences. When asked about perceptions of a homosexual undertone in the film, co-director Jennifer Lee was quoted by Yahoo as saying:
"We know what we made. But at the same time, I feel like once we hand the film over, it belongs to the world, so I don't like to say anything, and let the fans talk. I think it's up to them."
Meanwhile, the idea of Elsa being a lesbian and coming out to her family about her homosexuality is already gaining favorable comments from her fans. Check out few tweets:

Am I the only one who thinks that frozen is like a metaphor of "coming out" as gay... Like, Elsa was a lesbian, and everybody was homophobic — Maggie (@maggieh2201) February 10, 2016
