In this week's Better Call Saul S02E06, two of the most disturbing characters ever to appear in Breaking Bad rose back from the grave for the spinoff prequel: the Salamanca twin brothers Leonel and Marco. As shown in this recap with spoilers, this week Hector Salamanca sent his nephews after Mike, making him an offer he can't refuse.

At the end of last week's episode, Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis) tried to bribe Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) into keeping his nephew, Tuco, out of longer jail time: the cartel man asked Mike to tell the D.A. the gun was his and not Tuco's for $5,000.

After Mike refused, the Salamancas went into full action: first they sent Arturo (Vincent Fuentes) and a second time, it's him and another guy. They were meant to catch Mike by surprise, but he's too jaded. Beforehand, he put carbon paper underneath his welcome mat and saw their footprints. "Try harder," Mike tells them.

And so they did. A few scenes later, Mike is hanging out by the pool with his granddaughter, Kaylee (Kaija Bales), and he sees two men on a ceiling nearby --The Cousins (Luis and Daniel Moncada). The two Breaking Bad villains who would go on to try to kill Hank Shraeder make it clear that it'd be very easy for them to kill Mike and his family; after this, Mike agrees to a meeting.

Once again, Mike talks to Hector and now agrees to tell the D.A. the gun was his, reducing Tuco's sentence, on one condition: he wants $50,000 instead. The two men agree, as Mike goes a step further into becoming the man we met in Breaking Bad.

In the next scene, Nacho (Michael Mando) hands him the money and Mike gives him $25,000, the same amount Nacho had given him to put Tuco in jail; Mike didn't deliver and Tuco will be a problem once more in no time.

After Chuck talks to Howard (Patrick Fabian), it's finally time for Kim (Rhea Seehorn) to go back to the office, but her boss continues to be cold to her. He also sends her on her own for a losing battle, which becomes clear to opposing counsel Rick Schweikart (Dennis Boutsikaris), who offers Kim a job at his own firm.

Kim, unlike Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk), has done everything right and yet still gets kicked for others' mistakes, but it's tough for her to move on from the firm that made her a lawyer. To release the stress, she does a Slippin' Jimmy and, with Jimmy's help, convinces him to give them a check for $10,000.

Why is she doing this? She's not too sure.

At Santa Fe, Jimmy is having trouble sleeping in their generic company apartment, he ultimately goes back to the nail salon that was once his office, where he feels right at home.

Generally, he's also bored out of his mind at his Davis & Main job, still being overseen by the very annoying Erin (Jessie Ennis). That's why, when one-again, off-again girlfriend Kim calls him up for a new ruse, he doesn't hesitate and goes to her side.
