Mariah Carey Has Good Reason to Rush Down the Aisle with Marry James Packer

According to The Shade Room, Carey claimed that she wanted to get married fast because she has two small children involved and wants to keep her traditional values.

"I am very traditional," the singer explained. "I have babies, it's more appropriate. I don't know if most people can relate to that, but that's just how I feel."

Carey is even trying new things when it comes to her relationship with Packer. She said this time around that she's keeping her relationship more private. "If I start talking about this relationship, people will interpret it in their own way, so I think it's safer for everyone involved to just not talk about the very personal aspect."

According to the Brisbane Times, Carey and Packer would've been married around this time, but it appears that the nuptials have been delayed due to the diva's crazy touring schedule, and her upcoming reality show.

MStars News previously learned that Carey was engaged after Packer popped the question back in January. The businessman gifted his future bride a 35-carat diamond ring that is worth a lot of coins!

Carey and her second husband, Nick Cannon, called it quits on their marriage in 2015. Together they share twins -- a daughter, Monroe Cannon, and one son, Moroccan Scott Cannon.

Packer has also been married twice before.
