Katy Perry Mansion: 'Firework' Singer Selling Nearly $7 Million California Home Bought By Ex Husband Russell Brand, UNICEF Trip to Madagascar, John Mayer Breakup, Brand Makeout Rumor False

Katy Perry is in the news again for something other than her singing career. The "I Kissed a Girl" singer is reportedly selling her nearly $7 million mansion that was purchased by Russell Brand. After their divorce Brand gave up rights to the home to Perry, who now is looking to cash in on the home. Despite being one of pop music's most popular singers, Perry has found herself in the news recently more for her personal troubles with ex-boyfriend John Mayer. I wonder what Brand will have to say about this news?

According to E! News, the Hollywood Hills home, which has 11 bathrooms and seven bedrooms, has been listed for $6.925 million. The home was originally purchased by Perry's ex-husband Russell Brand, but he gave up his rights to the home during their divorce proceedings. According to OMG! Yahoo, the home was purchased for $6.5 million back in June of 2011. Brand and Perry originally were going to fix up the home, but obviously their divorce got in the way.

Meanwhile, Perry has also been in the news over her recent breakup with John Mayer. Unfortunately for Perry, she was unable to get the notorious bachelor to settle down. Believe it or not there were also rumors that Perry recently made out with her ex-husband Russell Brand. However, those reports have been proven to be untrue after they were taken down by Perez Hilton who issued an apology for jumping the gun.
