'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Custody Battle Hearing With Corey After Not Giving Twins Breakfast!

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has been getting heavily criticized since the premiere episode of the hit reality series showed her refusing to give her daughters breakfast before school. Well, it looks like the day after the episode aired the MTV star and ex-husband Corey Simms had a custody hearing about the co-parenting of their twin girls.

"Leah and Corey didn't have to be there," a source told Radar Online.

What was the end result? "Nothing will change," the source said. "They will continue to parent together."

Apparently, Corey knew what was going on in the home before the MTV cameras caught the shocking behavior. Even the second episode of season seven didn't portray Leah in a favorable light. Leah was caught dozing off while calling her sister to pick her daughters since she was too tired to do it herself.

"I have a fear of the future and what it holds. I'm trying not to work myself up because that's when my anxiety kicks in," she said at the end of the episode, via Radar.

As MStars News reported, the West Virginia mom went off on the network and producers on Twitter for editing the show to make her look bad.

"...It's so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching. It makes me feel like my life story isn't enough," she wrote.

"I DID hit rock bottom but I come out of it and I was willing to air it ALL because if just ONE person watched and reached out for HELP even when they feel so ALONE that's all I cared about because I could NEVER imagine ANYONE feeling the pain, hurt, depression AND anxiety that I WAS suffering from. It would break my heart!" she then tweeted. "I wanted to bring awareness and HELP others and if MTV couldn't share that then I will do it on my own the way God wants me to!!!!"
