Justin Bieber has a new haircut and just like any other time the "Boyfriend" singer has changed his hairstyle (or done anything, really), Twitter erupts with tweets about the pop star's choice. This time, the social media network is full of negative comments, comparing his new trim to the one he had back in 2009 with long bangs that made him "look like a lesbian." Others are drawing comparisons between him and other celebrities due to the shaved sides of his head. This style has been famously adopted by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Michelle Williams and even Tilda Swinton. What do you think?
Clearly this is a brave choice for the 19-year-old singer who is no stranger to judgment about basically everything he does. He is even used to getting the whole "lesbian" haircut claims, so why he decided to try a similar look again is al but a little confusing.
On the bright side, all of this focus on the singer's locks seems to be drawing attention away from his more controversial issues. He was recently accused of assaulting his neighbor and had been under investigation for battery charges.
Here are a handful of examples of the backlash that this new hairdo has caused on Twitter:
