Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have decided that marriage may not be right for them, at least not right now. However, the duo remain dating after their numerous rocky patches in their engagement.

"They were supposed to get married in June," an unnamed insider told Life&Style. "But there have been so many problems with them."

"They thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment. Everyone keeps it saying it - they're too young to be getting married."

With Miley frequently being seen without her engagement ring, Liam jetting off to Australia and numerous rumors of infidelity surrounding the relationship, this is probably for the best.

We knew something like this was coming, especially after the Hemsworth clan refused to comment on the status of the relationship.

"We just want them to live a happy life," Liam's brother Chris Hemsworth said, when asked about Miley-Liam.

"We don't want to get too much into their personal life; we just want them to be happy," his wife Elsa Pataky added.

Though the status of their relationship has changed, it is unlikely that Cyrus will accept that open relationship proposition that Liam was reportedly floating.

"She's making sure that she gives Liam his space because she doesn't want to be needy and they're still working through stuff, but there's absolutely no chance she'd agree to an open relationship," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Miley is going through a wild phase, but she's still the same girl underneath and she really believes in true love and soul mates and it's just ridiculous to think she'd agree to that kind of arrangement!"

What do you think? Is calling off the engagement the best way to go for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth? Will they ever get married? Do you think they are on the outs?
