Demi Lovato has been releasing teaser after teaser for her song "Heart Attack." She teased the single with song snippets. After that was released to radio, she teased the video with short clips. Well, now the day is finally here. Demi Lovato has released a for real for real music video to her single "Heart Attack" and it is awesome.
The 20-year-old actress belts in the Chris Applebaum-helmed clip with her hair flying in the breeze and her arms covered in black paint. The song is an absolute monster with bombastic choruses and electro drops and the video is equally large.
"She's one who is so not about just trying to be what's on radio," the song's producer Jason Evigan recently said about Lovato."She's a total original soul. She just wants to make what moves her. And if it moves her, she loves it."
"Heart Attack" is the first single off of her upcoming album Demi which hits shelves on May 14. The single deals with heartbreak, a subject that Lovato is no stranger to after high-profile break-ups with Joe Jonas and Wilmer Valderrama.
"But she's terrified, and by 'she,' I mean me,'" Lovato said of the song, according to HollywoodLife. "'But I think everyone comes to a point where they feel very vulnerable in falling in love and that's what I'm talking about."
