The CW network continues with an all-new episode for Season 4 of Arrow. Will Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) be able to hold her own against the return of Brie Larvan aka The Bug-Eyed Bandit (Emily Kinney)?
In our recent recap, the breakup between Oliver and Felicity was devastating news to the Arrow. Cupid (Amy Gumenick) launched her attack on couples, Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) had to take the stand in court against Damien Dhark (Neal McDonough). Though Oliver and Felicity had worked together to bring down Cupid, it was not enough to mend their heartbreak. Under investigation by Internal Affairs, Captain Lance had to hand in his badge and gun, which is all part of Damien's plan as he sits in his prison cell.
On his official Twitter account, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim shares a comic book page illustrated from Wednesday's all-new episode. In the panels, Felicity is with her mom and Thea (Willa Holland) watching the Bug-Eyed Bandit's video. Brie wants the hi-tech implant that Felicity has, but the only way to get to the device is to rip it out of Felicity's spine.

The last time we saw Brie Larvan was in an episode of The Flash. With the help of The Atom (Brandon Routh) and The Flash (Grant Gustin), Felicity was able to defeat the Bug-Eyed Bandit as they had their hacker battle, which led to the robot bees attacking their master.
In an interview with TV Guide, Kinney teases the Exoskeleton, ""Brie's upped her game a lot in this episode from just using the bees to cause havoc. She's able to get some help."
In an interview with Comics Beat, Guggenheim explains Felicity's arc is different from the past seasons, "The idea to injure her in the middle of the year goes back to something we said in the beginning of season two: when you go through a crucible it makes you stronger. I think, hopefully, people are watching the show more for the evolution than the regression that came with earlier seasons."
Arrow continues its fourth season Wednesdays 8pm on the CW.
