Kevin Bacon Tweets 'The Following' Spoiler, Apologizes [VIDEOS]: Star Retweets Twist Before Overseas Airing, Ruins Episode for Foreign Followers

After the airing of Monday night's episode of the FOX hit crime thriller show "The Following," the show's star Kevin Bacon retweeted a fan's Twitter post that happened to be a spoiler from the episode. This would not seem like a problem since the show already aired, but it did not air overseas yet. So this episode entitled "The Curse" was spoiled for countless of fans that follow the star overseas. Kevin Bacon, who portrays Ryan Hardy on the hit show, immediately apologized to his followers for the mistake. (SPOILERS to follow)

The 54-year-old actor wrote:

He even added the following short VINE video loop, simply saying “My bad” over and over again:

"The Following" is a runaway hit on FOX this season, becoming on of the most viewed shows this year. It centers on a thrilling chase of serial killer Joe Carroll who has a group of "followers" at his beckoning call. Each episode pretty much has a twist thrown in that throws the audience off guard and brings them back for more the following week. So when Kevin Bacon accidentally ruins the twist, it is kind of a big deal. It also must be mentioned that the "twist" that he accidentally spoiled was not episode-centric. This time, it had to do with the series as a whole.
