Heading into mid-Week 2 of the MLB 2013 season, ESPN predicts the season outlook team power rankings. The Yankees head into Wednesday's game at the no. 23 spot - according to sports columnist Rob Abruzzese, "It was obvious with all of their injuries that the Yankees would start slowly, but a poor first week from Robinson Cano and the pitching staff meant that it was an even worse week than some of the more optimistic fans expected."

The Yanks are currently 4-4 having played the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers in Week 1. NY proved victorious in Game 1 and 2 of the series against the Indians.

The Indians snag the no 20 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to sports columnist Stephanie Liscio, "The Indians defeated both reigning Cy Young winners, getting a combined 11 earned runs and 15 hits off of R.A. Dickey and David Price. The offense was led by Carlos Santana this week, as he hit .500 with a 1.455 OPS, including a 5-for-5 performance Sunday in Tampa."

Cleveland heads into the series against NY with three wins and four losses after playing the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays in Week 1 of the season.
