It appears that at least one Miami rapper has taken Uncle Luke's advice. Lil Wayne was escorted from the world-famous King Of Diamonds strip club Monday night after a confrontation with Trick Daddy. The confrontation appeared to stem from Lil Wayne's infamous "F**k Miami" rant in which he called out the city and claimed to have slept with Chris Bosh's wife.
Trick Daddy had apparently warned the "B**ches Love Me" rapper to check in before visiting Miami, as his unapologetic stance regarding the city had ruffled quite a few feathers. When "The Mayor of Dade County" heard that Weezy was in his city without permission (Weezy and Young Money CEO Mack Maine were hosting the re-opening of KOD) , he stormed the strip club with 40-50 fellow Miamians behind him. The pair got into a verbal altercation that reached its tipping point when Trick Daddy allegedly threw a cigarette in Lil Wayne's face.
The anger stems from a Houston show where Lil Wayne said ""F**k the Miami Heat! F**k Lebron! F**k She-Wade! and I F**ked Chis Bosh's wife!"
Uncle Luke came out against Wayne in a Miami New Times column called "It's Time Miami Stops Being Lil' Wayne's Bitch."
Luke then vented his anger toward present-day Miami rappers like Rick Ross and DJ Khaled for not correcting Wayne when he steps out of line. He recalled a beef between himself and Snoop Dogg in 1992 that resulted in Snoop having to cancel a Miami concert for fear of retaliation. He said that there should be a city-wide boycott of Lil Wayne for his disrespect of the Heat and especially Chris Bosh. Luke wants to make it where Wayne can't even set foot in a "McDonald's to get a burger."
Apparently, Trick Daddy got the message. In February he let his stance on the New Orleans rapper be known in an interview with 99 JAMZ.
"If anybody don't like it they can die tonight," Trick said. "I don't care who be offended by what I say. I rep my city and want nobody disrespecting. We've got to stick together as radio, as artists, as DJs and fans who love the music as a whole. That's what makes a community. Me and Luke been talking, we've been getting together, we're going to find out some type of way to get this thing back on the road -- I can't go nowhere else, this is my home. So from now on, when they get here, they're going to have to start checking in."
KOD tried to deny the rumors with a tweet that read "YMCMB in the Building!!!!! No worries...,"
However KOD_Miami tweeted back "trick daddy in the house n----s betta watch they mouth! #slipnslide #f---lilwayne #f---kod #tootsiesallday."
What do you think? Did Trick Daddy really get into it with Lil Wayne of Weezy's disrespect of Miami?
