Ne-Yo Slams Critics Attacking Wife Crystal Renay for Partying After Giving Birth

Ne-Yo isn't taking any mess from his critics -- the singer already had to defend his wife, Crystal Renay, after she decided to have one night of partying just a few days after giving birth to their son, Shaffer Smith Jr.

According to The Grio, Renay felt the heat from outraged fans after she posted photos of herself along with her friends including Eva Marcille having some fun leaving the kids at home. In the photo collage below Renay thanked the ladies for getting her out of the house and claimed that "mommies need fun too."

After chaos erupted on Instagram, Renay posted a video asking her haters who was going to check her for taking time to herself.

Outraged that people were attacking his wife, Ne-Yo wrote a lengthy statement that said: "I don't tell you how to juggle your baby mama's or baby daddy's. I don't judge the stupid things you've done (and in most cases are still doing) with your lives."

MStars News previously reported that the couple welcomed their first child together back on March 15. Renay is recovering from a C-Section and has already bounced back dropping major baby weight. She has been posting her journey on Instagram but with a lot of critics her positive moments may soon be deleted.
