Heading into mid-Week 2 of the MLB 2013 season, ESPN predicts the season outlook team power rankings. The Blue Jays head into Thursday's game at the no. 13 spot - according to sports columnist Matthias Koster, "Have a bad six-game stretch in the middle of the season and it's no big deal. Have it at the start of the season and it gets blown out of perspective. The Jays are minus-12 in run differential, R.A. Dickey and Mark Buehrle were shelled in their last start and Jose Bautista missed three games with an ankle sprain." 

The Blue Jays are currently 3-5 having played the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians in Week 1. Toronto defeated Detroit in Game 2 with a score of 8-6.

The Tigers snag the no 3 overall spot (out of 30 teams). As ESPN.com points out, "Victor Martinez has been slow to get out of the gate (a .143 batting average and only one RBI in the first six games) after missing all of last season after having microfracture surgery on his left knee."

Detroit heads into Game 3 with four wins and four losses after playing the NY Yankees and Minnesota Twins. The Tigers defeated the Blue Jays in Game 1 with a score of 7-3.
