With the royal mid-July due date moving closer and closer, many people are wondering why the pregnant Kate Middleton's baby bump is barely a bump at all. After all, she is in her sixth month of her pregnancy just like reality star Kim Kardashian, but their bellies could not be any more different in size. Some have claimed that, in order to keep her slim figure, the Duchess of Cambridge has become "mommyrexic." Fortunately that is not the case at all. It turns out Kate just has good genes for being pregnant.
This time we are not talking about the always-fashionable Kate's trousers. Standing at five feet ten inches, Kate's pregnancy figure is genetic. Just like what we are currently seeing with this royal pregnancy, her mother Carole reportedly carried all three of the Middleton babies in the same way.
"Carole didn't show for a long time," a source told Us Weekly. "She wore nonmaternity clothes right up until the final weeks. So it was no surprise to the family when Kate stayed little."
So there you have it. She hides her tiny baby bump under fashionable coats and will do so until she has to switch to maternity clothing.
We still have no idea whether we will be celebrating the birth of a prince of princess when July rolls around. Perhaps we will get an official announcement before the birth, but odds are we might have to wait until the little one is actually born.
With that said, it is hard to believe many of these "baby names shortlists" going around the Internet. According to these reports, if the bay is a boy he will be named Philip after his great-grandfather, Prince Philip. But if the baby is a girl, she will allegedly be named Elizabeth Diana, or Alexandra. Do you think any of these will turn out to be the new royal's name?
