Marvel fans that are based in New York City were recently in for a treat when Benedict Cumberbatch filmed scenes for Doctor Strange in full costume and even looked like he was preparing for a dance routine. Now images of a prancing Stephen Strange are all over the internet and well on their way to becoming a new meme!
The Twitter fan account Cumberbatch Lives has an amazing collection of the actor's NYC antics, from what looks like a Doctor Strange exercise video to the Sherlock star hiding himself in his cape. The fans have even snapped photos of Cumberbatch going into a comic book store, posing with people and procuring an issue of his character's comics. The actor was also spotted with costar Chiwel Ejiofor, who will play current ally and possible future villain Baron Mordo.

Cumberbatch might look like he's having fun with his Doctor Strange costume, but there is a possibility that the Star Trek: Into Darkness actor is simply trying to fight the New York cold.

In addition to Cumberbatch and Ejiofor sightings, there have also been photos of Mads Mikkelsen on the Doctor Strange set. The Hannibal star was seen wearing some interesting face makeup and a simple costume that is not as majestic as that of Strange and Mordo's. There are speculations that Mikkelsen will portray Dormammu, although his prosthetics and costume seem to suggest otherwise.

Director Scott Derrickson has also confirmed through Twitter that Doctor Strange has officially wrapped. It may be time to start post-production, since the film is scheduled for release later this year.
