5 Celebrity Budgets in Wake of ‘Azillion’ Singer Iggy Azalea’s IRS Tax Lien

The Aussie with the famous backside owes back taxes. Iggy Azalea has been hit with a tax lien from the Internal Revenue Service. Apparently the 25-year-old "Azillion" rapper is being accused of not paying Uncle Sam in 2014. It makes you wonder just how celebrities budget their money!

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Azalea, whose real name is Amethyst Kelly, now owes the IRS $391,056.55. That amount is, no doubt, the result of income made from her debut album, The New Classic, which was released 2 years ago. It included a string of money making hits including "Work," "Black Widow" and "Fancy."

The four-time Grammy nominee quickly took to Twitter to explain that she chose to pay the IRS in monthly installments instead of in one lump sum.

Azalea also claims the story is only getting buzz because of her current relationship problems with fiancée Nick Young.

The 30-year-old Los Angeles Laker was recently videotaped by teammate D'Angelo Russell supposedly confessing to cheating on the "Bounce" vocalist. In response, Azalea stated, "Everybody knows, it's no secret, I had a bit of a turbulent 2015. I wanted to not breeze over that. I wanted to acknowledge how I felt about it, and I just wanted to say, 'You know what? I think it's fine if everybody doesn't support me because I am a believer in myself."

In any event, the "Team" songstress doesn't seem to be letting her impending tax troubles interfere with her career as she performed just last night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
