After making its rounds in this year's Sundance Film Festival, the trailer for the strange Swiss Army Man has finally reached the internet, and it's just as weird as the first reactions had promised. In the first trailer for the film, Paul Dano plays a man stranded in a deserted island on the verge of suicide, until a corpse floats by -- that of Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe.

Ahead of the trailer, there had been few images and footage from the film, which opened in Sundance to a lot of expectation, as hundreds lined up to see the latest from the former Boy Wizard. Still, the film was widely polarizing when it first débuted at Sundance, with many walking out of the film early on due to content deemed offensive or downright absurd.

The problem people had with it? Radcliffe doesn't only play a corpse, he plays a corpse who farts, and the amount of gas expelled from it is so huge it can actually be used as a motor raft to leave the island.

Even with the walkouts, the film's interesting and downright weird premise drew a lot of press during the indie festival in late January, and A24 picked it up for distribution, with a summer release in the works. The few critics that saw the film at the time reviewed it favorably, and as of April 5, 2016, Swiss Army Man holds a steady 73 percent Fresh rating on critic aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.

"Hank (Paul Dano) is stranded on a deserted island, having given up all hope of ever making it home again," reads the synopsis. "But one day everything changes when a corpse named Manny (Daniel Radcliffe) washes up on shore; the two become fast friends, and ultimately go on an epic adventure that will bring Hank back to the woman of his dreams."

Swiss Army Man will have a limited theater release on June 17 and a wider one on July 1st.
