Kat Graham is ready to move on from The Vampire Diaries. After eight seasons on the CW show as witch Bonnie Bennett, the actress revealed that she will make her big exit in 2017.

“Season Eight will be my last season,” Graham told Us Weekly. “I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.”

She added, “But you know what? Another season is a whole other year, and we’re going to blow it out.”

Season Seven has seen the 26-year-old take on some tough situations, such as recovering from an attack by Tyler (Michael Trevino), and teaming with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to take down Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff).

“There’s some really intense stuff with my character this season,” she said. “The biggest episodes I’ve ever had are 20 [airing April 29] and 21 [airing May 6]. It’s pretty major for the character — huge turns, a lot of stunts and cool s**t!”

While the show has been picked up for an eighth season, it won’t be confirmed for months whether or not there’ll be another pickup for the continuation. There are so many possibilities: Could Nina Dobrev return?

Dobrev, who played the lead female, Elena, famously left the series at the end of Season 6 in 2015.
