Bruno Mars comes from a family oozing with talent. The latest members of the Hernandez family to take the music industry by storm are all four of Bruno Mars's sisters: Jamie, Tahiti, Tiara, and Presley. The sisterly quartet bands together to form The Lylas; and they are making their into America's living rooms with their fall WEtv reality show.
CBS reported, the 27-year-old Grammy winner's four sisters will appear in a reality series documenting the recording process of their debut album.
"The Lylas are fierce, independent women, leaving their home -- and in some cases their relationships and kids -- for a chance at pursuing their love of music," Lauren Gellert, WEtv's vice president of production & development, said in a statement. "Their story is one filled with all of the drama and chaos that comes from making a major life change, with the added spice of doing it alongside your sisters."
WE tv ranks No. 1 among black women ages 18-49 and 25-54 on Thursdays with Braxton Family Values, L.A. Hair, Tamar & Vince and Mary Mary, according to The Hollywood Reporter. On Saturdays, the fifth season of My Fair Wedding: Unveiled was up 21 percent after relocating there from Sundays; and Joan & Melissa was up nearly double among women 25-54 in its recent third-season bow after moving from Tuesday.
Tahiti, Tiara, and Presley will following in Bruno Mars, born Peter Hernandez's footsteps and relocate from Hawaii to Los Angeles to live with sister Jamie and pursue music careers.
Mars, moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles after he finished High School in 2002, according to CBS news.
The Lylas journey will air Friday evening on WEtv, according to The Hollywood Reporter. WIll you be watching?
