The DC Cinematic Universe is officially on a roll, despite some negative reviews on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Jason Momoa, who played Arthur Curry in a brief cameo, has once again defended BvS before gushing about the upcoming Justice League films and his future Aquaman costar Amber Heard. According to the former Game of Thrones star, the new Mera is "awesome!"
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Justice League star casually addressed the bad criticism on BvS.
"Some people liked it, some people didn't," Momoa said. "It is what it is."
The new Aquaman also stated that although he doesn't understand the negative reviews, he has decided not to pay attention to bad vibes.
"I don't get it, but I don't really listen to what anyone says...You can't win 'em all," he said before admitting that he enjoyed the film.
"I had a ball," he said. "I loved it."
Momoa also spoke about the Justice League films, which he revealed he had already known about for some time now.
"I've been waiting for four years that I've known about it that I've had to keep my mouth shut," he shared, not even bothering to hide his excitement.
"I'm super pumped to shoot it!" Momoa declared.
The actor has obviously been preparing for his role as Aquaman by working on his superhero physique. Momoa has shared several videos on Instagram (including the one below) that shows off just why he is the King of Atlantis.

"I'm super stoked," he announced about Heard's casting. "She's awesome!"
The first Justice League film is scheduled for release on November 17, 2017 while Aquaman will premiere on July 27, 2018.
