Stephen Hawking has accomplished more in his lifetime than any of us could ever dream of. But the theoretical physicist shockingly doesn’t feel like he’s truly made it as a pop culture icon unless he snags a guest appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"I won't feel like a true pop culture icon until I've been on the Kardashians," Hawking told ABC's World News Tonight in a recent interview about his and Russian entrepreneur Yuri Milner's plans for interstellar exploration.
The 74-year-old has been up for making special appearances on popular TV shows like The Big Bang Theory and The Simpsons, but this goes a long way to shows the power of the Kardashian-Jenner clan that even Hawking wants to be keeping up with them!
"Be careful what you wish for," responds World News Tonight anchor David Muir.
Although Hawking is confined to a wheelchair due to ALS and communicates using a single cheek muscle attached to a speech-generating device, it is certain that the first family of reality TV will find a place for him in their sunny southern California world.

Hawking and billionaire Yuri Milner are making efforts to find alien life. Now, the first results from a $100 million 'Breakthrough Listen' mission to uncover signals from ET have been released.
The announcement was made during the launch of their second initiative, dubbed as the Breakthrough Starshot, which aims to send nanocraft to our neighboring solar system.
“It is unlikely that there happens to be intelligent life in our nearest star system,” Hawking told Muir, but mentioned that space exploration often has a positive impact on Earth’s quality of life. “The rapid progress of technology for space exploration has improved people’s lives, so it would not be surprising if it [Breakthrough Starshot] brought benefits.”
