It seems that MTV is all about bringing people back together. During the networks Sunday broadcast of the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, two of the cable channel's reality stars appeared to be back together again, after calling it quits a while ago. Teen Mom 2 star Farrah Abraham walked down the red carpet with her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran by her side, which got everyone talking since the couple split last year.

According to Us Weekly, the star who was sporting a gorgeous gold and black dress, let things get a little bit heated during the award show, as she was caught on camera cuddling up to Saran, and even doing a little more than cuddling.

The news site reported that during the broadcast the former couple was seen locking lips and evening touching tongues while watching from the audience, much to the shock of fans, who thought that the two of them were no longer an item.

The music channel later took to their Twitter account to post a gif of the extreme PDA that had just taken place, writing, "Things are getting wild on the #MovieAwards audience cam."

Yet, while the couple looked adorable and very much back together, Abrahams told Us Weekly when they caught up with her on the red carpet that the two were "just friends right now."

"We're growing up. We have so much to do in our relationship, but we're here as friends today," the reality star explained according to MTV, but it seems that their is a possibility for more in the future between the two of them, as the star is thinking ahead hoping that an engagement might happen someday.

"I already wished [an engagement] would happen, but no," the star said when asked if her and Saran were on the way to marriage.
