'Empire' Couple Trai Byers & Grace Gealey Officially Tie the Knot [DETAILS]

MStars News has learned that two of our favorite Empire stars tied the knot last week! Trai Byers and Grace Gealey are officially husband and wife. According to the New York Daily News, the co-stars said "I Do" on Thursday, April 14 in a small ceremony on Grand Cayman Island. The couple's wedding was inside of a beautiful mansion, where 50 guest witnessed their vows.

"It was a beautiful wedding filled with family and close friends," a source claimed. "Some cast members from 'Empire' were there. Grace looked stunning."

MStars News previously learned that Byers was engaged to his co-star after he popped the question on her 31st birthday last year. "He surprised her on her birthday," a source previously stated. "He popped the question and she was totally surprised and elated."

Gealey previously talked about working with her lover. She told Tyra Banks: "I think that if two people are mature and are able to understand that if this doesn't work out...first I'm not a fan of flings when you work, because that's where it gets a little dangerous."

Gealey added, "If you want to have flings in real life that's fine. I think when you do get involved at your workplace you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in and that this is not something that is misleading and to have the maturity to know that if this doesn't work out you're not going to throw staplers at the other person."

Gealey was raised in the Cayman Islands before coming back to the US to go to college and land a role on Empire. The actress plays Anika Calhoun while Byer's plays Andre Lyon the son of Calhoun's ex-fiance, Lucious Lyon.
