Kate Middleton Baby Bump, Due Date: Pregnant Duchess Preps New Home and Nursery with Antique Shopping, Set to Visit Children's Hospice

The pregnant Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William will be moving into their Kensington Palace apartment with the latest heir to the throne this fall and it looks like the Duchess might be antique shopping to decorate their new home. Some have even suggested that she might be thinking about decorating her prince or princess' nursery as well! The royal couple has their Amner country home available soon, as well, so perhaps Kate is preparing for both homes. On top of antique shopping, the 31-year-old is set to tour the Naomi House Children's Hospice on April 29.

According to a representative for Saint James Palace, the Duchess is set to visit with children of the hospice, their families, volunteers and supporters of the charity. Among other important functions, the Naomi House Children's Hospice provides both palliative care and end-of-life care for the children suffering from life-limiting conditions.

Besides focusing on her royal duties with charity, Kate is seemingly preparing for a decorative venture with at least one of her homes. This weekend Kate was spotted browsing the many rooms of Mews Antique Emporium. She reportedly was shopping with some friends and looked at furniture, knickknacks, and other antique items. However, it seems that the Duchess left empty-handed.

A spokesperson for the antiques store said, "The Duchess looked radiant and well. She was happy to mingle with other customers and security was very low key. No purchases were made by the Duchess, although some were made by her friends."

What is interesting is that Kate's antique store shopping venture was about 25 miles from her Amner estate. Palace sources have confirmed that the Duchess has indeed been shopping for the country estate and frequents antique fairs as well.
